This is a "Shaker" sweetgrass lidded sewing box that was "made for the world" at the Mt. Lebanon community. It came out of a very impressive antique americana collection. Fortunately for me the photos turned out good enough that I can save a lot of words in describing it. The size is approx. 4 7/8" square X 2" high. And in beautiful condition. Price $ 275.00
