This historical Staffordshire pitcher/jug is commemorating the centennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth (1809-1909). It is 6" high at the handle. Lincoln appears on both sides in a wreath with the whole of the jug in a type of flow blue sprays and garlands. There is a saying on the ribbon below which states: "with malice toward none with charity for all". It is marked in blue on the base with "Cauldron/England". I do not see any damage at all. This jug was illustrated on the cover of Antique Trader Feb. 12, 1974(I have the paper also!) $ 475.00
