The item that I am offering here is a pair of French Opera Glasses with a mother-of-pearl and brass body and with an adjustable focusing knob. On the eyepiece are the words "LECLAIRE" and "PARIS". The adjusting knob works fine and the lens are alright also. There is a box with it but the names are different on the box. I do not know if it is the same company or if some collector mixed them up at one time. Anyway, this is what I have to offer: The Leclaire glasses with a box marked with: "LEMAIRE" and Paris instead of "LECLAIRE". The bottom of box is fine--the lid is parted and taped inside the corners. Price $ 195.00
