This is an etching by Prince Albert (husband of Queen Victoria). Both Victoria and Albert did etchings as a hobby. This one is titled "The Executioner" and is a 9th plate by Albert. It is signed "Albert 1/11 1840" in the lower left. The image that you see measures approx. 4" X 5 1/2".
