This is a 19th Century English Dome Top Coffeepot marked "Davenport". It is with a purple transfer garden scene. The coffeepot measures approx. 10" high. It is in excellent condition except for a hairline at the base of the handle where it meets the body. There is also a very short hairline where the handle meets the top of the body (on one side side only) but there is no indication that this handle was ever broken off the pot. There is a pinhead spot where the glaze is rubbed under the spout but only seen when turned upside down. This is one of the better condition pots I have seen. Much better than the average dome top and gettin harder and harder to find this nice ! Price $ 950.00
