I owned and sold a Staffordshire example of the Vicar and Moses years ago for $1,250.00. I have never seen one made in Delft ware. This is slightly larger than the creamware item that I sold before. This is approx. 11 1/2" high. It is almost 4 7/8" wide in the base and approx. 5 1/2" from front to back. It is all handpainted. It appears to be 18th Century. However, I don't try to be someone that I am not, and claim to know it all, so everything I sell is with a money back guarantee "provided" that it is returned within 10 days and in the "exact" same condition that I sold it and with a written letter from a qualified expert on a notorized " company letterhead" or from a "museum curator" on a museum letterhead POSITIVELY identifying it as OTHER THAN WHAT I AM OFFERING IT TO BE---AN OLD delftware example of the grouping known as the "Vicar and Moses". My price is $1,995.00
